Rerunning Tables and Duplicate Companies in HubSpot

Rerunning a table will create duplicate companies in HubSpot unless you implement conditional logic to prevent this.

How to Add Conditional Logic

1. Click into your action column to edit it
2. Scroll to the bottom of the configuration
3. Input conditional logic to prevent duplicate creation

Rerunning Tables in HubSpot

Clay will not create duplicate companies when rerunning a table, provided the same identifiers are used.

How it Works

• Clay matches against existing companies using unique identifiers (such as domain)
• If a company already exists from a previous run, Clay will skip creation and use the existing record instead

When Duplicates Occur

Duplicates are created only when identifiers change between runs:

• Different domains used in separate runs
• Missing domain data on subsequent runs
• Multiple "create company" steps without a match condition applied
