Is there a "Clay ID" for each company that I can sync back to my CRM Accounts/Companies?

We are using the anonymous tracking, right now we are then trying to identify the account from the CRM using domain matching, but that only works if the domains are an exact match. So the thought is: Step 1: Enrich all accounts from clay and add a clay company reference id Step 2: Match website traffic not on domain, but on the company reference id that is now in my CRM.

Yes, we offer comprehensive corporate hierarchy enrichment through HG Insights. [clay.com You can identify Group HQ (ultimate parent company), Is Group HQ status, Corporate Parent (immediate parent), Domestic Parent (same-country parent), and Children (subsidiaries). For example, inputting google.com reveals Alphabet as the group HQ, Google as corporate parent, and Google Ireland Limited as domestic parent. [clay.com This gives you the full hierarchy structure from global HQ down to local entities. To set this up, add a new column, select "Enrich Company," then choose "HG Insights: Find company corporate structure."

Yes, thank you.

Does clay also to any parent/ultimate parent enriching for accounts?

Yes, Clay provides unique company identifiers through the HG Company ID data point. [clay.com This unique identifier is assigned to each company and helps you easily track and differentiate between businesses. [clay.com When you enrich companies via our API, the response includes a companyid field (e.g., "company_id": 141827591) that serves as a unique identifier for each company. You can use this ID as your reference identifier to sync back to your CRM. Your proposed workflow would work: enrich your CRM accounts through Clay to get the company ID, then match website traffic using this unique identifier instead of domain matching.
