Does using Clay's Salesforce integration consume API calls and are there any limits?

Yes, Clay's Salesforce integration uses your Salesforce API calls for importing, lookups, updates, and creates. Most Salesforce orgs get 1,000 API calls per user license per day, which can be consumed quickly with Clay workflows. For imports specifically, there's a 50,000 record limit per table for webhook tables (live Salesforce lists), but regular Salesforce list imports and SOQL queries can handle larger datasets. To manage API consumption, consider batching operations, running workflows during off-peak hours, using auto-delete to reset table limits, or keeping enrichment processes in Clay and only pushing final qualified records to Salesforce.
